£212 iirc which is quite good considering it's age. Now whenever i buy graphics cards I aim for around the £200 mark so you're getting near the top end, but not the rediculous stuff thats over priced. That way like mine they'll last a good 4 years and by the time you'd need to even think of replacing it it's probably time for an entire new build anyway.
Update for you Kronos, the company have accepted the RMA and so it'll be in the post back to France tomorrow. Wonder how long they turn this around and get back to me....
2-4 weeks I'd imagine. I've never dealt with PNY myself so it's hard to say but they seem like a decent company so maybwe the shorter end of that timescale.
Kronos mate ive got a quick question for you. Ive had a response from my RMA from PNY - They are sending me a replacment new card - a GTX 550Ti. What are your thoughts on this card compared to the one they are replacing ?
They're pretty similar on price so I guess they'll perform about the same. The main difference is that the 9800 is a better but older card, whereas the 550 is alot newer but was released for the lower end of the market at that time. SO the performance should be about the same, but I'd still try and squeeze a gtx 460 out of them On their website it's listed as $20 more than the 550, but is a much better card.
