DUKEEEE! i figured the problem out man.
You like me have a router thats pathetic, shit and given to us from the phone/internet company and hasnt got a brand...well it turns out it has its own internal settings u have to go into and from there u can forward ports!

Im with BT so heres what i had to do, i suggest u get googling.

Actualy my dad purchased the router himself (way to go dad -_-)
So mines like: modem)--->router)--->duke's PC)
I ringled the ISP and lucky for me I got a guy on the phone who is an addicted multiplayer guy He knew everything about portforwarding!
He walked me through every step but to no avail
He told me the modems they give don't have firewall's or any of that crap. So I don't know if the above method will solve my problems...
I'll go and take a look
