Just build best on ur budget. I am with kronos.
You don't need the latest and greatest thing. Because before you know it, you want the next best thing.
It becomes a vicious cycle.
Just get a nice motherboard with a decent cpu and decent gpu. It should last 4-5 years.
I bet we could do it without spending monstrous amount of money. I think budget wise $900 is doable.

The only thing missing is hdd and a cpu heatsink/fan but stock will be ok until you decide to OC. You can easily shave $50 off if you went for only 4gb ram instead of 8 and if your case/psu is good enough which would bring it down to $700. But I doubt your case will be as the gfx card is a beast at 11 inches so won't fit in most cases. The case there is the best around for price, is huge so can fit everything in and has great airflow (I actually have this case). Also the gfx card can be unlocked so it's essentially a 9670 which is an $80 more expensive card.

This is an Intel build as they're better but AMD are cheap so great bang for buck if you really had to get the price down more.

hdd = hard disk drive. and yeah, provided you have a monitor, mouse, keyboard etc

Oh and you'll also probably need thermal paste which is like $5.
